About IGLiveStream

IGLiveStream is an archive of celebrity Instagram Live broadcasts and Stories. It currently holds 11,891 videos from 640 public figures, captured while they were being broadcast and kept watchable after Instagram removed them.

Why the archive exists

Instagram deletes a live broadcast the moment it ends unless the creator shares a replay, and shared replays are removed after 30 days. Stories disappear after 24 hours. In both cases the content is genuinely gone - not hidden, not archived privately for viewers, just deleted.

That makes a large amount of public output from public figures unrecoverable within a day of it being posted. IGLiveStream records it as it happens so it stays watchable.

How content is captured

Automated capture monitors a curated list of public figure accounts. When a tracked account goes live, the broadcast is recorded in real time; stories are collected daily and compiled into a single clip per day, with monthly recaps for longer spans. Each video keeps its original broadcast date, duration and thumbnail.

Videos are hosted on YouTube and embedded here. Live broadcasts are browsable per person and per year; stories are browsable per person and per month.
