What IGLiveStream collects, why, and how to be rid of it. The site works fully without an account, and no account is required to watch anything.
What we collect
Analytics: aggregate usage data through Google Analytics, pages viewed, approximate country, device type and referring site. This is used to understand what people look for, not to identify anyone.
Follows: if you follow a celebrity while signed out, that list is stored only in your own browser's local storage and never reaches our servers. If you sign in, it is stored against your account so it can sync between devices.
Account data: if you choose to sign in, we receive an account identifier and, depending on the provider, an email address and display name. Nothing else.
Signing in is optional
No part of the archive is behind a login. Signing in exists for exactly one purpose: syncing your follow list across devices.
Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication, using Google, Apple or a one-time email link. We never see or store a password.
If you sign in with Apple and use Apple's Hide My Email, we receive only the relay address and never your real one.
Third parties
Video playback is embedded from YouTube. When a video is played, YouTube receives the request and applies its own privacy policy. Players are loaded only after you click play, so nothing is requested from YouTube until you choose to watch.
Advertising may be served by third-party ad networks, which may set their own cookies. We do not share your account information with advertisers.
Analytics and authentication are provided by Google. Hosting is provided by Google Cloud.
Cookies and local storage
Local storage holds your follow list when signed out. Analytics uses cookies to distinguish sessions. Signing in sets an authentication cookie.
Clearing your browser storage removes all of it. The site continues to work.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold, and you can object to processing. Deleting your account removes your follow list from our servers.
Write to [email protected]. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and it will be deleted.
Archived individuals
If you appear in archived content and want it removed, you do not need to prove a legal claim, see the copyright page. Removal requests from archived account holders are honoured.
