Jen Selter got real in her bedroom about why she rarely posts hate comments, but made an exception yesterday after someone left a fat-shaming message. She explains she shared it because she thought about people with body dysmorphia or anorexia who might read something like that and stop eating for days. For herself, the hate doesn't land, she says people can call her whatever and it won't faze her, especially around her period when she gets super bloated anyway. The bigger point she's making is that the people sitting behind a screen talking trash usually have their own demons going on, so don't take negativity personally because whoever's throwing it is probably going through something themselves.
