Jailyne Ojeda Ochoa's luggage ended up in Phoenix while she landed in Miami, and that was just the start of it. Coming back from the Dominican Republic, she was pulled aside by two agents before even leaving the plane, had both phones taken, and was escorted to the bathroom by a federal agent who stood inside with her while she used it. Three agents then spent about an hour going through her phones, laughing at whatever they were reading, while she kept telling them she was going to miss her connecting flight. It ended in a separate room where they interrogated her about things they found in her messages. She points out she was born in the US, has TSA PreCheck and CLEAR, and still says she gets treated like she has no rights on American soil.
