Love him or hate him, Tekashi 6ix9ine broke through with 'Gummo' in 2017 and spent the next few years making some of the loudest, most chaotic rap music around, rainbow hair, face tattoos, and all. His 2018 album 'Dummy Boy' debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, but it dropped while he was already in legal freefall after a federal racketeering arrest. He cooperated with prosecutors, testified against his former crew, and walked out of prison early, which made him one of the most controversial figures in hip-hop by a wide margin. Since then he's been more tabloid fixture than chart presence, but his fan base never fully left.
