Elizabeth Banks went from playing the uptight Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games to directing Pitch Perfect 2, proving she's just as comfortable behind the camera as in front of it. She got her start in smaller roles, Wet Hot American Summer, Scrubs, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, before landing bigger gigs like the Pitch Perfect franchise and 30 Rock. She's pretty openly funny and self-deprecating in interviews, which tends to make her feel more real than a lot of people at her level.
