Gloria Trevi is the Mexican pop star who turned 'Dr. Psiquiatra' and 'Pelo Suelto' into full-on anthems of rebellion in the early '90s, wild hair, ripped stockings, and a middle finger to what a pop star was 'supposed' to look like. She went through one of the most dramatic real-life sagas in Latin music history, including years in Brazilian and Mexican prisons, and came back to sell out arenas like none of it could stop her. Her fans, Los Trevilos, are fiercely devoted precisely because she's been through it and kept singing. These days she's still touring, still theatrical, and still very much herself.
