Jacob Sartorius blew up on Musical.ly around 2016 when he was barely a teenager, then parlayed that into actual pop singles, 'Sweatshirt' is still the one most people know. He built a massive following on the back of that early social media wave and leaned into the pop music side of things for a few years, releasing EPs and touring. He's been pretty open about growing up in public and dealing with the pressures that come with teenage internet fame.
